Disabilities and pregnant women

The Vendée Department Council pays particular attention to greating people with disabilities for whom it has put in place specific measures in the Vendéspace. 

These devices are designed to make the experience more enjoyable and make access safer for people with disabilities and pregnant women. Adapting reception arrangements for their specific needs. 

The Security Service may request a disability card or a medical certificate if the disability or pregnancy is not obvious/visible. Visitors that cannot produce this document will be invited to use the "general public" access. 

Where to buy tickets ?

  • People with wheelchairs

For events organised by the Vendée Department Council, the places reserved for disabled people in wheelchairs are managed by the ticket office of the Vendée Department Council. Reservations must only be made by phone : 02 28 85 85 70 (Monday to Friday from 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5.30pm). 

For other events, places reserved for disabled people in wheelchairs are directly managed by the producers, not by the ticket outlets (Fnac, Leclerc, Hyper U ...). The producers details appear on the page of the event. 

  • Disabled people, pregnant women

For events organised by the Vendée Department Council, in the case of specific needs (inability to climb a step or remain standing, visually or hearing impaired), the reservation must be made only by phone : 02 28 85 85 70 (Monday to Friday from 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5.30pm). In other cases, booking can be done online. 

For other events, places reserved for disabled people in wheelchairs are directly managed by the producers, not by the ticket outlets (Fnac, Leclerc, Hyper U ...). The producers details appear on the page of the event. 

How to access the Hall ?

Specific access, indicated by a small poster, is located on one of the glass doors of the Great Hall next to the ticket office. It allows access for people with disabilities and pregnant women, and their companion(s). People in wheelchairs can be accompanied indoors by staff present at the ticket office. 

The Vendéspace has an elevator to access the level -1 of the Great Hall (Ground floor and Pit), door I. A second elevator is available in the Dojo Entrance for access to the martial arts room. 

Where to park ?

The main parking area offers 20 parking spaces for people with disabilities near the main entrance of the Vendéspace.
